ROTEX Alumni

ROTEX is the association of former exchange students sent by District 7150 to study abroad on either the Short Term (Summer, or "STEP") and/or the Long Term (academic year) program.

ROTEX members assist students who are about to travel overseas by helping with language and sharing experiences of living in a different culture. ROTEX also helps the District Committee and Country Contacts with translation, student selection and student participation.

We encourage all former exchange students to join ROTEX and participate in our many activities. Please contact Derrick Taylor, Dylan Baker or Alexis Linck-Entwiste for further information.


Derrick Taylor was a STEP (Short Term Exchange Program) student to Troisdorf, Germany in 2009, and a year long exchange student to Taipei, Taiwan from 2010-2011. He is now a current MPA student at Syracuse University.

Dylan Baker spent his long term exchange in Belgium from 2012-2013 after graduating from Skaneateles New York.

He has since become a prominent member of "ROTEX", the organization of former exchange students from District 7150.

He is currently studying computer science and intends to someday join Rotary to continue helping with the Exchange program.
